Questions About Getting Fit
Hi Ray,
I am on the verge of taking up your offer on the fat to fit program but I have a few burning questions that I want to ask before plunging in.
Firstly, I come from an Asian country and from what I have seen from other programs, often the meal plans are more difficult to implement and it is difficult to find good Asian food substitutes. Would this be the case for fat to fit?
Answer: The fat to fit diet plans uses foods that are common everywhere like chicken, veggies and nuts. Substitutions are no problem because it matters only what is in the food and not the actual food itself.
Are the nutrition ideas and meal plans geared more to Western diets?
Answer: No. When I eat chicken, you can eat chicken, turkey, duck it doesn’t matter.
Also, how many hours of working out per day should I be anticipating?
Answer: On average expect to work out 1 to 1.5 hours every second day.
As a skinny, flabby guy, would the fat to fit program provide both muscle building and fat loss? I don’t want to have a bodybuilder-esque figure, just a healthy, lean and toned figure with muscle mass and good strength. Just thinking that as a skinny, flabby guy I am sort of caught in the middle here.
Answer: fat to fit is designed to build muscle mass to the degree that you want while burning off fat.
Finally, can I achieve all my goals without stepping into the gym? Can I go through your whole program using bodyweght exercises? I have a set of resistance bands and a doorway pullup bar. Would these be helpful and can I implement these into the workout? Thanks for your kind attention and valuable time! I hope to hear from you soon as I am almost bursting with anticipation of buying and starting your program but these few issues are holding me back.
Answer: There are two programs for each phase. The first is for those that want to work out in the gym and the second is for those that want to use bodyweight. However after a certain period of time you will find that you are strong to the point that even bodyweight exercises will not be hard enough and may want to start to use your resistance bands. If this is the case, just email me and I will tell you how that is done.
Hope that answers your questions,
Ray Burton
